Big Brother 28: Veto Ceremony Plans for Week 2
What a week it has been inside the Big Brother 28 house! The Head of Household for Week 2 of Big Brother promised chaos, and he has delivered that on a silver platter this week. Devens decided on a plan and hoped that the Power of Veto Competition would work out in his favor this week on BB28. Will Devens follow through with his plan at Monday’s Veto Ceremony? Read on to find out!
As we know, Devens put Lyric, Jason, and Melody on the block this week after Rome made it clear that Lyric and Jason were the two people he wanted to keep safe this week. Rome’s hierarchy was exposed during the Nomination Ceremony this week, which tipped Rome off on the fact that he might be the real target this week (he is).
Barrett and Angela were picked to play in the Veto. This gave Devens a great chance of being able to follow through with his plan to backdoor Rome this week. If one of the noms won, he could replace them with Rome. If Angela or Barrett won, he would have them use the Veto on one of the noms and put Rome up. But in the end, Devens won the Golden Power of Veto, giving him the ability to do it himself.
At this point, there have been a couple of scenarios discussed. The first plan involved Devens using the Veto to take Lyric down and put Rome up in her place. However, Devens’s allies quickly shot that idea down and explained to him why that was a horrible idea.
There is no way that Devens is going to use the Veto on Jason because he wants to ensure that either he or Rome goes home this week. Therefore, the only logical route to take this week is for the Veto to be used on Melody. This would leave Lyric and Jason on the block next to Rome come Thursday night’s BB Blockbuster competition.
Surely Devens will do the smart thing and keep Lyric on the Block so she’s not down to vote to keep Rome and let Rome campaign to stay, right? Right?? Oh my goodness, here goes Devens. Overnight Devens was back on the plan to save Lyric, leaving Melody and Jason on the Block, and renom Rome in Lyric’s place. Sigh. Devens thinks he’d be earning Lyric’s trust… by ultimately evicting her closest ally and showmance? Come on now, Devens.
