Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 22, put EJ and Cat on different paths, as he hurries to cover up his tracks, and Cat is invited to betray her boss — and mark. Plus, Sarah has to turn to Xander…again.
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) insisted to Tate (Leo Howard) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) that she is not a drug addict. They didn’t believe her. So she insists some more. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again, and all that.
Sarah doesn’t really want to believe it, either. So she asks Xander (Paul Telfer) to help her do some less-than-legal stuff. Hey, remember when Sarah broke up with Xander because he wouldn’t stop doing some less-than-legal stuff? It wasn’t useful to her then. It is now.
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is not a lie down and die sort of guy. He’s covered up DiMera Pharmaceutical’s role in poisoning Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) well. He’s check-mated Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), and he’s doing his best to keep Lexie’s (Nikki Campbell) terminal condition a secret.
But all that is a lot for one man to keep track of. That’s where Rita (Maggie Carney) comes in. She worked for Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). She knows tricks older than EJ!
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is already holding down two jobs: Working for EJ… and spying on EJ for Rafe (Galen Gering) and Andrew (Colton Little). Now, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), who knows about the former but not the latter, has something else to add to Cat’s plane: Would she like to work for Kayla, against EJ? No wonder there is so much unemployment in America. Cat has all the jobs!

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) is really mad that scammers are counterfeiting her merchandise. She is so mad that she is willing to work with Leo (Greg Rikaart) to break the story. Leo loves breaking stories. He also loves being in Javi’s (Jacob Martinez) orbit. Two birds, one stone.
