Big Brother 28: Counting The Votes In Week 2
An exciting week immediately became a bit of a dud. Devens made the big decision to nominate Rome as Lyric’s replacement. Most of the action for the week happened after Devens won the Head of Household and ended after the Power of Veto Ceremony. The game seems stuck this week because no one is really willing to pivot and take out anyone but Rome or Jason.
Even before the BB Block Buster, the week seems set. Today is Wednesday, so we may see a bit of movement towards evicting Melody if against Jason, but Rome is highly likely to leave tomorrow if he doesn’t win the BB Block Buster.
Scenario One: Rome wins BB Block Buster – Jason & Melody Final Noms
Jason and Dee formed the Cafe Con Leche alliance a while ago, so it seems her preference would be to keep Jason over Melody. She even mentioned this idea on Monday. She argued that it took a number away from Drew, but Angela mentioned her fear of Jason coming after her if he stayed. Dee steered away from the idea after this conversation.
Votes to Evict Melody: Rome, Taylor, LaTrice
Votes to Evict Jason: Dee, Angela, Drew, Barrett, Lyric, Yash, Kamu, Chuk, Haley, Mallory
The vote could be unanimous for Jason to leave. However, Rome seems like a loyal player and would at least give Jason a sympathy vote. LaTrice and Taylor are very close with Jason, so they may also give him a vote, but it depends on if the house tells them differently with their votes. Drew and Barrett spoke about potentially throwing hinky votes this week, and then blaming them on someone else, but we doubt they will actually follow through on this idea.
Scenario Two: Melody wins BB Block Buster – Jason & Rome Final Noms
This would probably be the best case scenario for Jason because it’s his opportunity for him to stay in the game. None of the houseguests currently want to save Rome. His game seems done if he loses the BB Block Buster.
Votes to Evict Rome: Angela, Barrett, Chuk, Dee, Drew, Haley, LaTrice, Mallory, Melody, Lyric, Kamu, Yash, Taylor
Votes to Evict Jason: Currently none
Lyric may be the only person to throw Rome a sympathy vote, but she has already told many people that she would vote him out. Unless something major happens overnight, there doesn’t seem to be any scenario where Rome receives more than a few sympathy or hinky votes.
Scenario Three: Jason wins BB Block Buster – Melody & Rome Final Noms
The only way things shift in this scenario is if somehow the houseguests convince themselves that Melody is more of a physical and social threat than Rome. This isn’t likely to happen.
Votes to Evict Melody: No one currently
Votes to Evict Rome: Taylor, Yash, LaTrice, Dee, Jason, Kamu, Lyric, Chuk, Angela, Haley, Mallory, Melody, Drew
Once again, Rome may get a sympathy vote from Jason and Lyric, but it’s likely that they just join the house and vote with them. We are likely getting another unanimous vote to send out Rome.
This week will likely be straightforward with the votes. Another unanimous house vote to take out Jason or Rome. The only way things change is if there is some serious movement later tonight.
