 Dawn Fletcher is facing one of the most terrifying mornings of her life in Emmerdale, and what should have been the happiest day of her life is instead turning into a desperate race to escape.

With her wedding to Joe Tate only hours away, Dawn has barely been able to sleep. She is frightened, confused and convinced that she is about to marry a man capable of destroying everything she loves.

The biggest reason for her fear is Billy Fletcher.

Billy, Dawn’s former husband, was recently left in hospital after suffering a serious head injury. The circumstances surrounding the attack have remained unclear, and Dawn has been led to believe that Joe was responsible. To make matters even more complicated, Dawn is carrying Joe’s unborn child, meaning that walking away from him would not simply mean ending a marriage before it begins.
