5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight as Joe is accused of Billy’s attack
In tonight’s Emmerdale, theories about Billy’s attack spread around the village – and it’s bad news for Joe, who seems to be the prime suspect.
Meanwhile, Charles is shocked when he finds out how far Claudette has gone to protect Kev.

1. Billy is found at the depot
When Caleb and Kerry arrive for work, they’re horrified to discover Billy unconscious following his mystery attack. An ambulance is called and police also arrive at the scene due to the suspicious circumstances.
Caleb confirms that there’s no CCTV footage, though naturally neglects to mention that this was deliberate to protect the counterfeit goods secret. And when the police ask if Billy had any enemies, Caleb wastes no time in naming Joe.
2. There’s drama between Dawn and Joe
Dawn and Joe rush to the hospital when they find out that Billy has been admitted for emergency treatment. Dawn can’t believe that anyone would want to hurt Billy – as far as she’s concerned, he doesn’t have any notable enemies.
Joe decides the time is right to admit that he knows about the recent kiss drama. But will this spark further suspicion in his direction?
3. Billy faces an uncertain future
Billy is diagnosed with a bleed on the brain.
He’s left in a coma and everyone is aware that his future could be touch and go…
4. Claudette makes a confession
Claudette admits to Charles that she used her own money to bribe Steve so that he’d stop being such a bad influence on Kev and leave the village.
Charles is flabbergasted that she’d go so far to protect their wayward houseguest – and how will Kev feel when word gets back to him?
5. Nicola puts pressure on Jimmy
Nicola makes some barbed comments about the state of her marriage as she reckons Jimmy has started to take her for granted.
