Days of our LivesĀ spoilersĀ for Tuesday, July 28, force EJ to consider where he went wrong. Well, technically, Marlena tells him everything he did wrong. And she wants him to feel bad about it. Plus, Holly and Tate manage to find their way back together.
Marlena Challenges EJ to Face the Consequences

TheĀ walls are closing in on EJĀ (DanĀ Feuerriegel) from every direction. Thereās Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), thereās Holly (Ashley Puzemis), thereās Gwen (Emily OāBrien). Marlena (Deidre Hall) wants EJ to think about all the things heās done wrong lately and to then make amends.
EJ didnāt ask for her opinion. Heād rather chat with Stefanoās portrait (Joseph Mascolo). Itās more validating. Like ChatGPT.
Kate Hopes Roman Can Forgive Her Betrayal

Kate (Lauren Koslow) admitted to Roman (Josh Taylor) that sheās the one who lured Johnny (Carson Boatman) into making a stupid decision. Sheās sorry that his grandson is so incompetent.
And, OK, fine, sheās sorry that she did it, and sheās sorry she lied to Roman about it. But, really, in the great scheme of things, this is hardly the worst thing sheās ever done. So why is Roman acting like it is? He knew who he married. And if he didnāt, well, thatās on him.
Xanderās Theory Could Finally Clear Hollyās Name

Xander (Paul Telfer) remembered that he had left Hollyās bag unattended for a few minutes while showing Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) a video of Victoria. Based on that, Xander has decided that someone could have slipped pills into it.
Xander is not wrong. But he also has no evidence that it even happened, much less who could have done it.
Nonetheless, Sarah and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are convinced. And since they are convinced, they tell Holly they no longer think sheās lying to them about being a drug addict. Tate (Leo Howard) is also on board. So he and Holly reconcile.
