Susan Fears EJ Is Becoming More Like Stefano
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) periodically gets twinges of conscience about what he feels he needs to do in order to protect his fatherâs legacy and pass it down to his own children. But heâs pretty good at ignoring them.

What EJ canât ignore is his loving mama. Susan (Stacy Haiduk) is worried that her precious Elvis is increasingly reminding her of Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). And thatâs not a good thing. Susan tells Elvis to knock it off. If EJ will listen to anyone, it will be her. But will he?
Lexieâs Lie Begins to Fall Apart Before Abe and Theo
Lexie (Nikki Campbell) told Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) that she was going to visit her mother, who remembers Celeste and her chats with the netherworld; did she know her daughter wasnât really dead all this time?
But she was really planning to take a kidnapped Kristenâs (Stacy Haiduk) place once EJ absconds with her. Weâre still not sure how. Thatâs a complicated deception to weave. Which is why Lexie trips up. And Abe and Theo catch her out.
Leo (Greg Rikaart) went to Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) with his fears about Gwenâs (Emily OâBrien, who revealed THIS about Gwen) disappearance, then followed up with Marlena (Deidre Hall). Can said she couldnât do anything about it.
Marlena tried her best to do something about it. But, in the end, Rafe (Galen Gering) is the one in law enforcement. So Leo wisely turns to him next.
Johnny Tries to Lift Chanelâs Spirits
Chanel (Raven Bowens) is dealing with chemotherapy while pregnant and raising a toddler. Also, her husband is obviously lying to her. She has every reason to be tense.
Johnny (Carson Boatman) wonât tell Chanel the truth. But he does tell her a few jokes to cheer her up. Thatâs pretty much the same thing⌠right?
