Emmerdale reveals Dr Todd police visit as Vanessa is left shocked
Emmerdale fans can expect shocks for both Vanessa Woodfield and Chas Dingle next week, when they are put in the picture about serious developments in their loved ones’ lives.
For Vanessa, it’s a visit from the police that triggers alarm bells when she is asked to cooperate with an investigation.

The village vet can’t believe it when DS Reid explains that a serious allegation has been made against Caitlin Todd, and that she needs to ask some questions because of their former relationship.
“Vanessa is totally confused because she doesn’t know what the allegations against Todd are,” shares our source. “But she wants answers and is concerned when Mack calls her, frantically searching for missing Charity.”
What they don’t know is that Charity is attending a rape survivors’ group, hoping the support will help her process what’s happening.
She’s also trying to contend with Chas, who has just found out that Mackenzie Boyd knows Ross is baby Leyla’s biological father.
Chas doesn’t want Sarah Sugden to find out the truth either, so she agrees to help Charity keep it quiet.

However, as they plot about what’s best to do, Charity’s eldest son Noah is considering a move abroad.
“Noah has no idea of what his mum is going through, or that a secret could be about to destroy the family,” notes our spy. “If he does emigrate, it’s probably the safest place to be – far away from the debris this explosion is bound to create!”

Fans will have to stay tuned to find out whether Vanessa is one to watch in the ongoing Dr Todd storyline.
A recent flashforward scene stunned fans by showing Dr Todd’s dead body, confirming that she’ll eventually get her comeuppance.
So far, there have been no further details on the timing of Dr Todd’s exit or how she meets her end, but fans are unsurprisingly suspecting foul play. Could one of the villagers take justice into their own hands?
