Big Brother 28: Alliances And Deals Report Week 2

As we saw in Sunday night’s episode of Big Brother 28, a new mega-alliance formed, but we also know that alliance is kind of split in half as two pre-existing alliances merged. So let’s take a look at that new alliance and the other groups and deals in the house at this point in Week 2.

The Toolshed alliance was formed to go after Rome this week. That was a late-night merging of the Crossovers and the Red Corner. But the Red Corner isn’t aware of the Crossovers. So the Toolshed is Devens, Dee, Angela, Barrett, Drew, Kamu, Chuk and Haley. And as we already knew, the Crossovers are Dee, Devens, Angela, Barrett and Drew, while the Red Corner consists of Kamu, Chuk, Haley, Dee and Devens. Of course Dee and Devens are loyal to the Crossovers.

An already rocky alliance of Rome, Lyric, Melody and Drew also formed more recently. They call themselves the Four Seasons. And it should be noted that Drew is officially playing both sides by being in that alliance. It’s not completely clear where his loyalties lie, but Angela and some of the other Crossovers have lost trust in Drew. Rome and Lyric also still have their rocky trio with Jason, known as the Love Triangle.

Drew has his hands in a few baskets, actually. He also has a Final 2 deal with Kamu and they are calling themselves The Handy Men. Oh, and he also has a Final 2 with Melody.

Let’s have a look at the other pairs in the house, Lyric and Melody are The Sirens and they still have Mallory on their side, but still nothing official with her. Of course there’s Devens and Dee with their Survivor alliance. They are probably the most solid pair in the game. Kamu has other final 2 deals with Chuk and Haley. And Dee has another with Angela. LaTrice and Taylor are a duo, but no Final 2 deal has been openly made (I don’t think).

Smaller deals include Dee and Lyric. They have agreed to protect each other. Mallory and Barrett also have an understanding, but Mallory does not trust Barrett. Jason also has a 3-week protection deal with Angela, but those two are very rocky with each other, so who knows what that really means.

And then there’s Yash, who is not currently a part of any solid alliance or deal. He’s had a few talks here and there, but there hasn’t been any movement there.

So right now, the house is pretty divided with Drew playing all sides. The Tollshed is a dangerous group – and by dangerous I mean we are in danger of getting a boring few weeks if they keep trading off the power. Here’s to hoping someone from outside that group will come into power and be able to shake things up a bit.
